Notes of honey, floral, creamy hazelnuts. A smooth and well-balanced coffee. A favorite!
The Clydesdale Estate was founded in the late 1700s by Dr. Colin McClarty, a British national who came to Jamaica for a short visit, but fell in love with the country and decided to stay here. It is one of the first estates to market coffee in Jamaica. Following Mr. McClarty's example and realizing the excellent quality of coffee produced in this region, other farmers took up coffee production near the Clydesdale estate. It is from these beginnings that the Clydesdale coffee region evolved. Clydesdale Estate coffee was first exported in the late 1700s. Since then, due to the exceptional quality of its beans, it has remained an important coffee growing region.
